What is Neuro Now?
Neuro Now is for adult patients and patients 15 and older with neurological conditions that can’t wait weeks for an answer — migraines that have gone on for days, sciatica that makes it impossible to work, nerve pain that no urgent care center is equipped to evaluate. Our goal is a same-day assessment with a clear diagnosis and a treatment plan you leave with today.
We also see patients recently discharged from the hospital, so follow-up care isn’t delayed by weeks of waiting for an appointment.
Who We See
Neuro Now treats adults and patients aged 15 and over with neurological and pain conditions, including:
- Migraine and headache disorders
- Sciatica and nerve pain
- Post-hospital discharge follow-up
- Patients with intrathecal baclofen (ITB) pumps
- Flare-ups of existing neurological conditions
We do not prescribe opioids.

What should I expect during my visit?
Our visit includes a neurological examination, a review of your symptoms and history, a diagnosis or working assessment, and a treatment plan. If additional testing is needed, we will order it and explain next steps before you leave.How much does a visit cost?
Most patients with insurance pay only their standard specialist copay (after meeting their deductible, if any). We will gladly provide a good faith estimate for self-pay patients before their visit.Who is Neuro Now?
Our medical director is double board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in both neurology and pain medicine, with more than 20 years of clinical practice in South Florida. Our team brings experience across neurology, orthopedics, and interventional pain management — built through two decades of working inside Miami-Dade’s healthcare system, its insurance networks, and its referral landscape.

Neuro Now offers same-day neurologist appointments in Miami, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No referral is required for many insurance plans. The practice is located at 3911 SW 67th Avenue, Miami, FL 33155, near Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
Do you offer same day appointments?
Yes. If we are too busy that day and you cannot wait, we can usually accommodate you the next day. The goal is to make care convenient.

Do I need a referral to go to Neuro Now?
That depends on your particular plan. Many patients do not need a referral.
Some patients, particularly those with Medicare Advantage plans, might need a referral. If you do need a referral, please call your primary care physician. They can usually send us your referral the same day.
